our other favorite city...timeless Venice

the large glass lamp is actually a canal marker, a navigational "bouy". It's one of my favorite things in Venezia...it's huge, beautiful, very old, and everybody goes by it millions of times every day. At night it glows with the history and charm of the Grand Canal.

onto the south of France...Nice and St Paul du Vence

a few years ago we took a five week trip whose aim was to see every Matisse we could find in Europe. We had a great trip following Henri M all over...but the Matisse musee in Nice was so wonderful and the ancient walled village of St Paul du Vence drew us back on this trip and surely will again.

so many more things to love about Paris

There are so many things to love about Paris...the parks, the views, the food, the art...it's almost endless...with every trip we find new and wonderful aspects of the City of Light.
